'Folktober' is an annual art and illustration challenge run on Instagram during the month of October as a folklore inspired alternative to Inktober. Artists and illustrators are invited to respond to a series of 31 prompts, one for every day of that month, which refer to a specific tale or creature/character from English, Welsh, Irish, or Scottish folklore.
